Hello everyone! We are once more kicking the gears and ready to showcase some amazing local artists. For this month's meeting, we will meet an amazing, talented printmaker/curator Melchisedek Shabazz!! For those who attend, we will learn behind the scenes of printmaking from the sketches, rough drafts, to the final piece! We will be attending Abner Clay Park. If it rains when we meet, we will meet at Three Notch'd @ W Broad St instead! Here is a little bit about Melchisedek. :)) See you soon!!

“I am Melchisedek Shabazz (he/him) a printmaker and curator based in Richmond, Va. I first discovered screenprinting during my time at Norfolk State University, where I was tasked to design a shirt and print them. I remember not liking my first prints but through a lot of trial and error I gained a better understanding of the process and began making it my own. With support from our local print shop, studio two three, I got more printing experience by doing workshops and classes. To me screen printing is more fun when shared with the community!”
