Celebrate with us!!!
Madison Home is not just about the daily work helping our neighbors with their basic living needs, we’re about making our Commonwealth a safer and better place for EVERYONE!
Passing 95-0 in the House and unanimously in the Senate, this is the kind of legislation all Kentuckians can be proud of.
HB 281–led by Madison Home and Madison County—and Kentucky-wide—faith-based and community organizations—was signed by the Governor and officially signed into law today.
Ministries, shelters, and local charities can do what they do best: help people in their own communities.
With its passing, churches and community groups trying to feed the hungry can do so without the licensing requirements and health department standards better suited for industrial kitchens rather than a church fellowship hall or local shelter kitchen.
HB 281 means fewer hoops, less waste, and more food getting to Kentucky families, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those displaced by natural disasters.
Madison Home is proud to have been a leader in this effort and is grateful for our govt representatives who supported us.
This is a win for the work we do every day here at Madison Home and all across the Commonwealth!!
