Mission of the Richmond Virginia Branch NAACP

The NAACP, founded in 1909, is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. The Richmond Virginia Branch NAACP, one of the oldest branches in America, was established in 1917. From the ballot box to the classroom, hundreds of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders, and members who make up the Richmond Virginia Branch continue to fight for social justice for all Richmond residents. We are excited to have you visit our page. We hope that by you learning about the Richmond Virginia Branch you will be inspired to join in the continuing fight for social justice in Richmond. Our Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month and are held at the Military Retirees Club, 2220 Chamberlayne Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23222, 7:00 p.m.
