What are these communities concerned about? Hear neighborhood-specific perspectives on the impact of Code Refresh. Learn how you can get involved and make your voice heard.

NOTE: These panelists represent neighborhoods that are predominantly Residential Attached (RA) zoning. We hope to expand the conversation to other zoning categories and communities in the future.

After a brief introductory program, most of the time will be devoted to answering community members' questions.

On Saturday, November 1, from 9:00am to noon, the Friends of Byrd Park, City of Richmond's Parks & Rec, and Capital Trees will be hosting a community tree planting near the cobblestone path on the east side of the Carillon. Volunteers will be assisting Capital Trees and Parks & Rec staff in planting 50 trees at Byrd Park. This event kicks off National Tree Week, with activities taking place throughout Richmond.

The City of Richmond has officially lifted the Boil Water Advisory following successful water quality tests. Two rounds of laboratory tests confirmed that the water in impacted pressure zones is now safe for consumption. Mayor Avula and City Council are committed to enhancing water treatment protocols to prevent future issues. Thank you to our residents for your patience.

The first test pulled Tuesday night was clear of bacteria 24 later. Now we are waiting for the second test pulled yesterday afternoon to come back clear before the boil water advisory in the affected areas can be lifted.
