❤️ Disaster Relief Assistance Available for Indiana Residents
The recent flooding has had a significant impact on communities across Indiana, including areas close to home here in our region. We know many families are facing unexpected expenses as they work to recover and return to their homes.
The REALTORS® Relief Foundation is providing disaster relief assistance to qualified Indiana residents whose primary residence was affected by the disaster.
Eligible assistance includes:
🏠 Monthly mortgage payment if your primary residence was damaged
🏡 Rental costs if you have been displaced from your primary residence
🏨 Hotel expenses if you have been displaced from your primary residence
Assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per household.
📄 What you will need to apply:
Applicants must provide:
• Photo identification showing proof of residency, such as a driver's license or other government-issued documentation
• One of the following: a mortgage statement, new lease agreement, or hotel receipt
• Proof that the primary residence was damaged, such as:
• Photos of the damage
• Insurance forms showing the damaged property address
• Written claims, settlement proceeds, or claim-status reports
• Repair estimates from contractors
❌ Who does NOT qualify:
This grant program does not apply if:
• You rent your home, experienced damage, but were not displaced
• You experienced a power outage without physical property damage
• There was no damage to your primary dwelling
Applicants must be a full-time resident and citizen or legally admitted resident of Indiana.
