Our billboard is up for the month. The location is coming over the Richmond Avenue Bridge as you come to Purina and the carryout. It looks really good. Hope you enjoy it and tell your friends and family that might have children interested in soap box derby racing or may want to serve on our board of directors. We would like to thank First Bank Richmond and Porter Advertising for making this happen and look for more billboards in different locations in the future.

As the Covid-19 has been preventing us from getting together as a club,to promote us as a club an the city of Richmond,Ind.The AASBD org and National Superkids org event was cancelled do to the virus.We are now starting to regroup an move forward on plans for fall,winter,and work the start of 2021.
Today we went to Indy to Wilbur Shaw Park on North 30 th st nexted to Marian University to watch kids practice at the Indinapolis Derby Club track for the practice for the NDR event over Labor Day Weekend Sept 3 & 4 known as the National Derby Rallies.
We are looking for parents,kids , church - school clubs interest in going to Indy over labor day weekend to watch kids race 3 to 4 hours please contact me at

The Richmond Downhill Racers Club at this time has no plans until later this summer and fall to hold any events or organize any events. Due to the COVID-19 issues going on in the state and country. When it is safe to go back to planning and organizing events we will keep you informed. Be safe everyone and take care of yourselves and loved ones. And may God be with us all and keep us safe thru this terrible time.
