Please join us in welcoming Dr.Coy for another fantastic presentation!
“The Last Mission: A WWII Story”
WHEN: May 21, 2026 6:30 PM
WHERE: Madison County Public Library Richmond Branch

From Dr. Coy:
“This year we are experiencing the 250th anniversary of our young country…and like our own personal lives our country has had to deal with troubled times, difficult times.
But what I have learned in my 84 years is that difficult times can make you stronger if you can manage to come out on the other side.
I am convinced that like the blacksmith, the Great Depression hammered, heated and cooled our parents, and grandparents like the blacksmith’s well tempered iron rod…..into a generation of people that allowed seemingly ordinary people …men…women…even children…to BEND and NOT BREAK…to come together…and save Western Civilization during WW II.
Ordinary people became capable of doing extraordinary things…..I hope this presentation can remind us of this.”
