105 years later, we still remember what was taken from Black Wall Street.

The Tulsa Race Massacre wasn’t just an attack on a neighborhood. It was an attack on Black success, Black wealth, and a thriving community that built for itself despite every barrier placed in its way.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the stories too often left out of textbooks, and the legacy of Greenwood that still lives on. Never forgotten.

Many of you who follow Together We Stand have seen and responded to the calls for action and accountability in this case, and after months and months of refusing to share the body cam footage, we now see why. They knew the officers caused her death and they needed time to figure out how to best cover their asses, with zero concern for the agonizing wait they put the family through. TWS sees this in cases we work across the country. Stall, delay, hope they go away. Although this is heartbreaking to see, this video gets us one step closer to Justice and Accountability for Yolanda. Sending all of our love to the family 💗
