The Torch of Hope has made its way through Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and is currently in South Carolina! Tomorrow the torch will be passed to Georgia and arrive at Atlanta’s Centennial Park just in time for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics! There is still time for you to make a donation towards the VA/WV goal of $14,000! Our Virginia torch represented research. On the eve of the 2016 Summer Olympics, the flame is heading to Virginia from Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., and we’re inviting you to help pass the Torch Of Hope that will ultimately end up in Atlanta's Centennial Park!

Our Virginia torch represents research. Did you know that in Virginia more than $4 million is currently invested in research grants? American Cancer Society researchers have contributed to most of the major cancer breakthroughs in recent history. On Tuesday, August 2nd we are hoping to raise $14,000 throughout Virginia and West Virginia. Will you help us continue our life-saving work and win the Gold Medal of a world without cancer?
