Team 50/50 is restocking Community 50/50 wrap around resource site TODAY and visiting 2 families for a weekly wellness check to provide cleaning supplies, hygiene products and case managers listen to presenting stressors to present effective resources and support systems.

Help Community 50/50 restock our "Weekly Wellness Check Inventory of household and hygiene products closet.j

Your donations help support 7-10 families during weekly wellness supplies such as toilet paper, hygiene products and other household products to address underlying health conditions associated with stress impacted from financial barriers.

🌱 Nourishment Begins at Home 🥕🍅

There is something deeply therapeutic about growing your own food, choosing fresh produce, and preparing healthy meals with intention.

When we plant a seed, we learn patience. When we harvest what we’ve grown, we experience gratitude. And when we prepare a nourishing meal, we create an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and care for ourselves and the people we love.

Fresh fruits and vegetables provide our bodies with essential nutrients, while the simple process of preparing wholesome food can nourish us emotionally and mentally as well. Chopping vegetables, washing fresh greens, stirring a pot, sharing recipes, and sitting down together can become meaningful rituals of wellness.

For families, cooking together is more than making a meal. It’s a chance to teach children where food comes from, build healthy habits, share traditions, and create memories around the table.

And you don’t need a large garden to begin. A few herbs on a windowsill, tomatoes in a container, or fresh greens from a local market can be a beautiful starting point.

We invite Richmond City Residents REST AND Wellness in Nature 🍀

🗓 Date: September 12th
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
💧Tree Hugging Activities
💧Journaling and Art Activities
💧Grounding and Meditation/ Deep breathing Activities
💧Harvest Fresh Crops to take home (Squash, Cherry Tomatoes and Green Peppers)
💧Recoil Therapy (Must Sign Liability waiver. Bring your own fi****ms, ammo and safety eye wear). This activity is scheduled based on group request.
💧Agricultural Education sessions
💧Light refreshments provided

Richmond City residents and all are welcome to leave the city environment and join us for a meaningful day of community service, wellness, and connection. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated!
