MCSO BOWLING TEAM-IMPORTANT INFO!!

8 GAME SCORES ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 9th! YOU CAN GET SCORES OUTSIDE OF SCHEDULED PRACTICES, JUST BE SURE TO TURN THEM IN!

*ALL BOWLERS MUST BE KEEPING RECORD OF YOUR OWN GAME SCORES* (bring with you a notebook to write down scores, take a picture of your game score or make sure you give to Coach during practice*
Bowling is an Individual Sport. To register for competition, the average of individual scores is turned in and are grouped with others of the same gender in a similar score range for fair competition.

PRACTICE/COMPETITION RULES:
-All spectators must stay behind the lanes on the carpeted area, unless you are a ramp assistant or coach-MUST BE A CLASS A VOLUNTEER (go to SOKY.org)
-Only athletes need to be bowling together-if non-athletes are wanting to bowl with a MCSO bowler, they must purchase a lane to the side of the team lanes
-All parents/caregivers MUST remain in the building with their athlete during practices. Offer suggestions to assist bowler with technique, and help them keep their scores.
-At competition, all bowlers must wear a collared shirt, khaki or black dress pants/shorts, and no hats
-Do not step over the foul line of the lane-Bowlers will be disqualified at competition
-Bowlers must compete at Regionals, and qualify in order to advance to State

Competition Dates:
October 17 - SOKY Regionals - 10am(arrive by 9am) @ Galaxy Bowling Alley
December-5 & 6 – SOKY State -time TBA - King Pin & Tin Pen, Louisville, KY (Bowlers must qualify from Regionals to advance to State)
