Back for it's 52nd year! Featuring the American Muscle Car... All Years and ALL Makes! Along with everything from Stanley Steamers to the "Brass Era", the teens through the 2000's! Blue Ribbon Area, Women's Rides, Over 70 acres of Swap Meet, another 70 PLUS acres of Car Coral, The CONSTANTLY GROWING "Midway", celebrity guests of all kinds, including the celebration of 50 years of Happy Days with Henry Winkler, Anson Williams and Donny Most there for autographs!

Last night shook my world as I found out a good friend lost his son in a tragic accident yesterday.
His son was ONLY 19 years of age. He was a great kid as I knew him, talked with him several times and got to know him a bit. His father, his parents and family are truly at a loss with hearts broken.

I have experienced a LOT of loss in my life within the past few years, with the tremendous loss of my father, many close relatives and good friends as well as several fellow club members and a couple of beloved pets (True family members to my family).
To say it hasn't taken a toll on me personally would truly be an inaccurate statement.

All of us deal with loss in our ways... Whether they work or not. I do believe each loss takes away a piece of you, as I don't feel whole any longer. I attend as many services and funerals as I can, whenever someone I know... Whether very well or simply an acquaintance... It doesn't matter, as for me it is simply a way for me to pay my respect and say goodbye one last time... Or hopefully until we all meet again in the next life.

Losing a parent or a child is one of the most difficult losses a family can take... Particularly the loss of young child...

My heart goes out to all those who've lost someone close, especially so abruptly... Often without a goodbye hug or often without a simple goodbye, as we expect the days to go just like any other for the most part. We never expect to lose someone without notice or to never walk through our door again. We never expect that the last time we see someone, might just be the very last time...

Never take anything or anyone for granted. Life is short, live for the day! Live for those you love. Those you care about. I cannot put it any more simply than that. Make those adjustments quickly if you need to, but it's not that hard to make sure you say goodbye or I love you, with expectations of seeing that person a few hours later or another day perhaps...
