The Richmond Shroud of Turin Center was founded in June 1997 to perform original research on the Shroud and provide educational presentations to people in the Middle Atlantic states. The Center features full-size, true-color frontal and back images of the Man of the Shroud as well as full-size black ad white negative images of the Shroud. Accompanying the images are PowerPoint presentations that can last from 45 minutes to three hours depending on the subject matters covered.

An 10:00AM on Saturday June 13th, at the Shroud of Turin Center, we will provide a new presentation: "Eucharistic MIracles and the Shroud of Turin". We will discuss the history and features of Eucharistic Miracles over time and their relationship to features on the Shroud of Turin.

The presentation will feature the full size , true-color and black & white images of the Shroud along with color photographic and microscopic images of the elements of a number of Eucharistic miracles.

The presentation is free and open to the public. The Shroud Center is located inside the Benedictine College Prep building on the Benedictine Schools campus at 12829 River Road, Henrico VA 23238.

A presentation on the Marian apparitions at Fatime, Portugal - one of the most remarkable events of the 20th Century where tens of thousands saw the sun appear to spin and where a remarkable series of three prophecies were given.

We'll go through a number of the studies done over the past 130 years in an attempt to determine its unique characteristic, place and time of origin, and the source of its unique image.

A reminder - this Saturday (Feb 28th) at 10:00 AM at the Shroud Center (12839 River Road, Henrico 23238) the Center will prensent “A History of the Shroud of Turin” featuring the Center’s full size true color and black & white Duratrans images of the Shroud.

We’ll trace the Shroud in history at the various locations it appeared and note the impact it had on Christian practices at the time and the many notable Christians who saw it.

The 2026 Lenten Season begins on Saturday February 21st at the Shroud Center and continues every Saturday thru March 28th. The presentations given on each Saturday are different and will focus on different aspects of the Shroud. The talks start st 10:00AM.

The presentation on February 21st is, ‘An overview and update on the Shroud of Turin’ and will cover all matters related to the Shroud including the latest discoveries related to the archaeological research bring conducted at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. This Church was built over the burial tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.

These presentations sre free and open to the public. The Center is located at 12829 River Road, Henrico 23238.
