Grassroots Center

Grassroots Center Most of us can easily identify needs and assets in the community, but taking action to connect the two is a difficult step to take alone.

The Grassroots Action Resource Center (Grassroots ARC) is a community center for collaborative social action and change. The center provides support and resources to nonprofits, grassroots projects, volunteers, and community leaders so that our collective impact is stronger. Right now, the center offers meeting space for non-profits, social action groups, and small events. We also offer assistance

and guidance to individuals and groups wanting to make a change in the community, such as matching volunteers and their interests with organizations in need. Available at the center are also books and online resources related to social change and building non-profit capacity. In the near future, we will be hosting many community workshops on anything from grant writing to community gardening. If any individual or organization would like to host a workshop on a particular skill, please contact us. The center will also be hosting networking events for local non-profits to collaborate, exchange ideas, and increase our collective impact. If you are a volunteer, community leader, non-profit worker, or anything in between, please contact us to see how you can use the space or be involved!
