Join the Center for Nonprofit Excellence, the Dan River Nonprofit Network, and The Commonwealth Institute for a virtual debrief of Virginia's legislative session. This program is designed to help nonprofit leaders understand the outcomes of this year's General Assembly and what they mean for our sector and communities.

This 90-minute conversation will provide an overview of key legislation and policy developments with direct implications for Virginia nonprofits, including a closer look at:

- Group Health Insurance Expansion (HB 353)
- Paid Family & Medical Leave Program
- Increases to Virginia's Hourly Minimum Wage
- Nonprofit Property Tax Clarification (HB 854)

We will connect legislative action to nonprofit practice, and you will walk away better equipped to lead, advocate, and respond on behalf of the communities you serve.

Community Purchasing Alliance Cooperative launched in 2010 to solve a need - helping community institutions reduce their operating costs so they can reinvest in their missions and communities.

Through group purchasing processes for facilities-based contracts, CPA helps organizations find better contracts, mission-oriented vendors, and friendlier contract terms. With over 15 years of experience in the DC region, CPA is now expanding to Richmond and looking to support community institutions with their purchasing needs. Through CPA's group purchasing programs, members have saved millions of dollars and countless hours, all while shifting over $60 million dollars to minority-owned businesses.

At this session, you'll hear about CPA's origin story, the way group purchasing works, and their existing DC area programs. Then we'll discuss the vision for Central Virginia - your vision - about what might be possible by purchasing together here in Richmond. Register to Attend: bit.ly/cpacinfosession
