🧵✨ There's something magical about gathering with fellow makers who speak your language—the rustle of fabric, the hum of machines, the quiet pride of a stitch well-placed.

This month's meeting was packed with inspiration and purpose:

🤝 We swapped mini quilts with our amazing friends from Front Range Modern Quilt Guild—talent everywhere you looked!

💬 Show & Tell reminded us why we love this guild: your projects are as diverse and beautiful as the people behind them.

🌟 Our new guild president shared breathtaking quilts from her trunk show—pure artistry that left us all reaching for our notebooks (and maybe a little bit of fabric).

❤️ And we showcased the precious NICU donation quilts being lovingly prepared for families in need. Each stitch carries hope, comfort, and community. This is why we sew.

📣 Don't miss out on our next Sew Day! Saturday, September 5th. Bring your project, your crew, and maybe a favorite snack. The room will be buzzing with creativity and good vibes.

🧵 SEW DAY IS BACK! 🧵 Saturday, August 1st | 10 AM – 3 PM Chester United Methodist Church

Grab your current project and join us for a day of sewing, socializing, and skill-sharing! We'll have an iron & ironing board, cutting mat, and a couple of 5×24" rulers on hand. Bring whatever you're working on — members are happy to help if you get stuck!

📍 Enter through the back of the church (parking lot side). Someone will be at the door to let you in. Our room is on the second floor, elevator available.

🥫 Please consider bringing pantry staples, canned goods, or personal hygiene products to donate to the church's food pantry.

✨ Non-members welcome! Just DM us before attending so we can get you all set.

Tomorrow! Beat the heat among kindred spirits at our Sit-N-Sew Saturday at the Chester United Methodist Church Annex, 4227 Old Hundred Road (Only this month at this alternate location.)

Last evening, the quilters of RMQG closed the guild year with a summer soiree. Members shared food and friendship with a healthy heaping of creativity. Sew Saturdays continue in July and meetings begin again in August. Block of the Month finished projects, NICU donations, and show-n-tell displayed the vision and skill of our guild quilters.
