Today’s : School is out (or almost out) for the summer! ☀️ That means new environments, new friends, and often many gatherings.

For DeafBlind children and young adults, sharing their unique hearing accommodations makes communication more accessible. Here are some examples from our children and young adults:

✨ Please make sure you are on my right side to speak into my right ear.
✨ I need you to face me when we are talking.
✨ Let's find a quiet corner, all of the background makes it hard to hear you.
✨ I cannot hear. I need access to sign language 2-3 feet away.

Not sure what this could look and sound like for your child? We would love to help - send us an email at [email protected] and let's get started!

Today’s : School is out (or almost out) for the summer! ☀️ That means new environments, new friends, and plenty of sunshine.

For DeafBlind children and young adults, sharing their unique vision accommodations is key. When families and youth can clearly explain what they need, it opens the door to better access, clearer communication, and a safer, more fun summer for everyone! 🕶️✨
