In the wake of Dolly Parton's passing, many community members have reached out asking how they can support 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆. We are deeply touched by that generosity.

Every Child Can Read is proud to serve as Wayne County's designated affiliate for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. For those who have asked how to honor Dolly's memory, a gift in support of the program helps ensure her vision continues to reach local children and families.

That legacy lives on through the children who receive books each month and the community that helps make the program possible. While we mourn the loss of an extraordinary woman, we also celebrate a gift that will continue opening books, imaginations, and opportunities for generations to come.🚂📚

Today, we join millions around the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton. Through her Imagination Library, she gave children far more than books. She gave them imagination, hope, and a lifelong love of reading. We are forever grateful for the joy she brought to families in Wayne County and around the world.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Your legacy lives on in every child who opens a book and discovers the power of a story.
