Youth Life Foundation of Richmond

Youth Life Foundation of Richmond Youth Life Foundation of Richmond operates Learning Centers to develop leaders by making long-term investments in children from under-resoured communities.

Our vision is to nurture the child, strengthen the family, and rebuild the community. The YLFR is a registered 501c(3) that educates over 75 students, with 100 + volunteers, 9 full-time staff and 12 board members. In order to make our academic enrichment programming available to all students in these neighborhoods regardless of income, we charge only $50 total for the entire school year and 5 we

eks of summer programming. The other 99% of our budget is raised through donations from individuals, churches, and grants. If you are interested in contributing to our mission, please visit ylfr.org/donate.

Mrs. Haley, Ms. Brittney Brunson , Ms. Lisa Cotman , & Mrs. Savannah Wheeler :
We see the lesson plans, the patience, the creativity, the deep breaths, the redirection, the laughter, the steady presence, and the thousand little ways you help our students feel safe, loved, capable, and ready to grow.

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we are especially grateful for these four incredible educators, all of the YLFR teachers who have served here with us, and for the wider YLFR community that surrounds them with love!

Thank you Mrs. Liz Siebers and the YLFR board for the thoughtful gifts and acts of appreciation.

Thank you!
