For five days, our Creative Industry Camp participants visit varying offices to explore careers in fashion, marketing, PR, and much more. The trip is fast-paced and allows them to see how product goes from vision to reality, while also having the space to ask their own questions. This trip is not just an opportunity to learn, but it really helps connect the dots amongst the inner workings of large-scale, creative enterprises.

"Something we didn’t expect was how many different jobs exist in just one company. We always kind of thought of jobs in a simple way, but there are so many roles that all connect. We heard from people in different departments, and it made us realize there’s not just one way to end up in a career. Honestly, a lot of their paths were kind of random, which made it feel less stressful about the future." -Zoe Woodson

Every table at the Black Girl Showcase told a story of the creativity, passion, and hard work of our Girl Action Teams, Immersion Lab, and Girl Ambassadors. From bold business ideas to mental health resources to projects rooted in social justice, we were so proud of every participant who completed their program and presented it to attendees.

Stay tuned for our recap blog to learn more about each program!
