The city's Zoning Advisory Council will meet Wednesday, April 8 from 4-6:30 p.m. at City Hall on the 5th floor. This body is integral to the Code Refresh process currently taking place in Richmond.

See the agenda for the meeting here:https://rva.gov/sites/default/files/2026-03/ZAC%20April%202026%20Agenda.pdf

Can't make it in person? Join via Microsoft Teams here: https://bit.ly/CodeRefreshAC

The Zoning Advisory Council includes a diverse group of Richmonders who are helping to guide City planners on the overall direction of the zoning ordinance. This is not a decision-making body, but a volunteer group of citizens who will be the voice of Richmonders in the room.

High winds, hail and maybe a tornado are forecast Monday (March 16). Make sure that you are prepared and aware to protect yourself, your friends and family, and your home.

This may also be a good time to sign up for Richmond Ready Alerts (https://rva.gov/richmondreadyalerts) in case there are any emergency messages. Stay safe out there.
