Sometimes the best decisions start as a “shot in the dark.” That’s exactly how Crystal Primrose describes applying for Habitat for Humanity. She never expected to hear back, so when the call came a few months later, her reaction was simple: “I’ve never been lucky like that in my life.”
Crystal, an Eastern Kentucky native, and her husband Nate, a Florida transplant, have spent the last 15 years building a life together with their daughter, Kyrie, whose imagination runs wild with Roblox adventures, aerial swings, and designing dream homes. (We’re thinking Habitat may have a future architect on its hands.)
Soon, the family - along with their cats and their bunny, Cookie - will have something they’ve always dreamed of: a forever home. More than four walls, it’s a place where Kyrie can safely ride her bike, where no landlord can affect their sense of security, and where they can finally make a home of their own. For the Primrose family, it’s not just a new address, it’s the beginning of a legacy. 🏡🔨❤️
