Tiny Village Spirit

Tiny Village Spirit Tiny Village Spirit has developed as a response to the emergency shelter crisis. Tiny Village Spirit is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Tiny Village Spirit is a San Francisco Bay Area based project which has developed as a response to the emergency shelter crisis and the giant need for housing justice in California, the US, and globally. We are both promoting construction of tiny house villages as an innovative model for addressing the housing crisis and are also engaged in community organizing of village residents and allies to create systemic change, toward garnering the resources needed to end homelessness.

Dreams are coming to reality at the Richmond Tiny Home Village, Farm and Garden. For Oakland resident, Delilah Borg, she has taken to the village to paint a piece she worked hard to come up with.

Delilah is creating a mural to inspire youth at the village to pursue their education, strive for housing and succeed locally.

Working on a large scale project was daunting at first, but hasn’t let that stop her.

She continues to work on her mural and we are excited to show off her progress so far.

Many volunteers, artists and skilled professionals are working to have the village move-in ready by July 1st and its residents are expected to move in August 1st.

This project will double emergency housing opportunities tor unhoused young people in Richmond.

Growing up 17-year old Iris Yu hiked with her family. Those special moments have now been painted on one of the tiny homes at the Richmond Tiny Home Village, Farm and Garden. Iris is one of the many artist currently painting murals at the village. We caught up with her earlier this month to talk more about her piece.

With Bay Area pride, this Richmond artist is helping transform a once empty lot into temporary housing for other youth.

The goal is to have the village move-in ready by July 1st and its residence expected to move in August 1st.
