Pack 133 had a great evening participating in Rosenberg National Night Out at Brazos Town Center!

Our leaders and Scouts were happy to visit with families, answer questions about Cub Scouts, and share what Pack 133 is all about. We also enjoyed helping Troop 801 Rosenberg, TX with their s’mores station for the community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about Scouting. We are proud to be part of a community event focused on connection, service, and bringing neighbors together.

Pack 133 put “A Scout is Helpful” into action today at Cora Thomas Elementary ! Our Scouts and families teamed up to give the school’s garden area some attention—pulling weeds, trimming trees and bushes, spreading fresh mulch, and adding new rocks in school colors. 🐯

Cora Thomas and the Cora Thomas Elementary support our pack all year, and this was our chance to return the favor. We’re grateful for the place they provide for our Scouts to meet, learn, and grow.

Thank you to every Scout, family member, and leader who brought tools, got their hands dirty, and spent part of their Sunday helping out. Proud of our Scouts for taking care of their community! 💙💛

A little camping practice and a lot of teamwork at tonight’s Pack 133 meeting! 🏕️

Our Scouts worked on setting up a tent, tying knots, choosing the Six Essentials for a daypack, and cleaning up a pretend campsite. Along the way, we talked about the Outdoor Code, Leave No Trace, and this month’s Scout Law point: A Scout Is Helpful.

The idea was simple: try it, learn it, then help someone else.

Thank you to our Bears for helping present the flag, our Webelos for helping with setup, and our AOLs for leading the opening and helping younger Scouts. We also celebrated our Scouts’ latest awards and achievements!

Thanks to all the leaders and families who helped make tonight happen. Our challenge for the month goes home with every Scout: Help before you are asked. 💛

Pack 133’s Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts spent the weekend outdoors, practicing camping skills and taking on responsibilities around camp! ⛺️

From setting up tents and tying knots to practicing first aid and helping with meals, Scouts had plenty of opportunities to learn by doing. Our AOLs helped lead activities and assign duties, giving everyone a chance to contribute.

Learning to lead, helping a friend, and tackling a task on their own—all part of building confidence for their next Scouting adventure.

For the third year in a row, Pack 133 has been named the Fort Bend County Fair Youth Civic Award winner!

What a fun morning at the Fort Bend County Fair Parade!

Pack 133 had a great time bringing our float idea to life with Scouts camping around a tent and campfire, along with a telescope looking toward the future. It was our way of tying into this year’s theme, “90 Years Strong — Honoring the Past. Growing the Future.”

Thank you to all of our Scouts and families who helped build the float, showed up early, walked alongside us and rode through the parade. A lot of work went into getting everything ready, and it was great to see it all come together.

We also want to thank the Fort Bend County Fair for recognizing Pack 133 during the parade for our 2025 Youth Civics Award. We’re very proud of our Scouts and the work they continue to do in our community.

Today, Pack 133 pauses to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who showed courage, sacrifice, and unity in the face of tragedy.

For our Scouts, this day is a reminder of the importance of citizenship, service, kindness, and respect for others. May we continue to teach our children to help where they are needed, stand together as a community, and remember those who gave so much.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Cub Scout Pack 133!

Today we recognize the hard work, service and dedication that help build stronger families and stronger communities.

In Scouting, our Scouts learn that being willing to lend a hand, work together and serve others can make a real difference — whether it’s at home, at school, in our community or out on the trail.

We hope all of our Pack 133 families enjoy a safe and relaxing Labor Day!

🤝 A Scout Is Friendly!

At our August Pack Meeting, Pack 133 focused on what it means to be friendly—welcoming others, listening, and making sure everyone feels like they belong.

Each Scout received a teal wristband, our color for Friendly, to wear as a reminder that the Scout Law should be lived every day—not only repeated at meetings.

Between now and our September Pack Meeting, we are challenging every Scout to:

⭐ WELCOME SOMEONE NEW! ⭐

Invite someone to join a game, sit with someone who is alone, introduce yourself to a new classmate, or simply offer a smile and a kind word. Small acts of friendship can make a big difference!

Parents, help your Scout look for opportunities to be friendly—and ask them what their teal wristband represents.

⚜️ New Scouts. New Leaders. New Adventures.

Tonight, Pack 133 kicked off the new Scouting year by welcoming new Scouts and families, introducing new leaders, and getting right into one of the skills Scouts can carry with them on every adventure.

Our focus for the night was:

💛 A Scout is Friendly

Scouts talked about what it means to make others feel welcome, include someone new, and live the Scout Law in everyday life.

We also introduced the Cub Scout Six Essentials and talked about why every Scout should be prepared when heading outdoors.

The highlight of the night was putting that lesson into action as each Scout built their own personal first-aid kit to keep with their Scouting gear and bring along on future adventures. 🩹🎒

It was a simple hands-on activity, but an important step toward helping our Scouts become more confident, prepared, and responsible.

Thank you to all of our families and leaders who helped make tonight a great start.

Pack 133 is ready for a year of new adventures! ⚜️
