What happens when you’re the only one in the room?

Our first Caffeinated Conversations this morning gave minority women a space to talk causally about the things that don’t always get to say out loud: navigating the design workforce, finding your voice, and figuring out what comes next after school. ☕️

Missed this one? Don’t worry, we’ll see you at the next one. 👀

The first few days of Project Pipeline have been full of creativity, collaboration, and plenty of fun. 🎶

This year’s theme, The Intersection of Music and Architecture, challenges campers to think about how listening, observing, and working together shapes the spaces we design. From creating instruments with everyday objects to tackling collaborative design activities, they’re already putting those ideas into action.

We’re proud to invest in the next generation of minority architects and designers, one experience at a time.

Last month, our fearless leader, President Crystal Miller, was on James Bryant’s Engineer Your Success podcast! 💡

This podcast episode centers around how the AEC world is evolving and the formative ways in which young people get involved through education, industry partnerships, and public engagement; as well as how early this pipeline to the AEC world should start. Tune in if you’re looking for an awesome and insightful listen! 🎤
