We love her famous chocolate chip cookies too! 🍪

Thank you to our Virginia FFA officers for their invaluable assistance in leading teams through the simulation and for being role models and mentors for their younger peers. This past weekend, more than 40 students enjoyed friendly competition and fellowship at Graves Mountain Lodge during the Virginia Institute on Cooperative Education — better known as VICE! Thank you to our sponsors, students, volunteers and the Graves family and their staff for another great weekend event!

Virginia Cooperative Council hosted its 64th Annual Meeting yesterday at CFC Farm & Home Center in Culpeper.

Katie Reames, assistant general manager at CFC Farm & Home Center, provided a presentation featuring the co-op’s history and evolution as a leader in the Virginia agriculture industry.
Reames is a 2022 graduate of Virginia Tech’s VALOR program (Virginia Ag Leaders Obtaining Results). She holds certifications from the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists in three areas: beef cattle, dairy and equine.

Culpeper Farmer & Home Cooperative is fast approaching 100 years in business and offers a variety of services to local farmers, ranchers, 4-H clubs, horse enthusiasts and other members of the community. In 2005, the retail store name was changed to CFC Farm & Home Center to reflect changes in the co-op’s range of products and services, which include clothing, toys, cookbooks and house paint, as well as many other items for both farm and home.

Thank you to all who attended and to those who support VCC throughout the year.
