Southside Community Development & Housing Corporation SCDHC is a nonprofit serving the Greater Richmond Metro, Petersburg, and Emporia.

SCDHC, a 501(c) non-profit, helps qualifying area residents obtain affordable housing through down payment assistance, credit counseling, and homebuyer education. We also offer pre and post-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling, and the matched savings VIDA program.
