5 years ago today, Noëlle passed away from an inoperable brain tumor at 37 years old. In 12 days on Sept 25th she would be celebrating her 43rd birthday.

In her memory, our family started this foundation. We would love to see how much money we can raise in her memory in the next 12 days through the Dominion Energy Charity Classic Birdies for Charity presented by Towne Bank! Loving “But Tomorrow” Foundation - They will be giving 10% of all donations made to us through the end of the tournament on October 23rd! ⛳️ 💙💚

We will be raffling off grounds day tickets to the DECC golf tournament to anyone who donates!!

Knowing that the foundation can help someone in someway is what it is all about 💜 tears to our eyes reading this thank you note - no 4 year old should even have to go through this. We are ready for her to be through treatments so she can be a kid again and we will keep Eleanor close to our hearts as her journey continues

Today while our whole family was together for Christmas, we decided to fill a few requests that had come through to the foundation. Christmas will always be hard without Philip and Noëlle here with us…but we know they are with us in spirit and we will keep helping others along the way ❤️ We were able to drop off one check this evening to a local woman who was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and has been undergoing many treatments. No one and no one this young should have to go through this. Prayers to her and her family! 💙

“I really, really appreciate the financial support from the Foundation. It is inspiring to me that Katie and her family were able to turn such a loss into helping and supporting others through their cancer battles.

Thank you again for the financial support. The words will never be enough for anyone who has helped me during all of this, but they are all I have.

Merry Christmas!”

We received our second application and were able to help out a wonderful lady in Richmond - THANK YOU to all of our donors so we can make this happen!

Please keep Linda in your prayers as she has just finished radiation and still has a very long road ahead 💙

Linda’s story: She was admitted to the hospital at the end of March with hydrocephalus caused by a tumor. She also tested positive for Covid-19. A biopsy of the tumor determined that she has a malignancy in the 4th ventricle of her brain. Its location makes it too dangerous to be surgically removed (It would likely paralyze her) so she will begin radiation treatments this week. Unfortunately, her job working with Instacart doesn’t provide disability or medical insurance.
She is currently in a rehab facility because she cannot be left alone due to weakness and some cognitive impairments. She has some short term memory issues and often struggles to find words. Through all that has happened, she has maintained an incredible positivity. We are hoping for the best with her treatments at the VCU Massey Cancer Institute.
Meanwhile she has zero income and still needs to pay rent and utilities on her home, as well as most of the other expenses of normal life. If things go well in the next weeks, she will be returning home with nursing care there and continued hospital treatment.
The money is needed to cover the basic expenses to keep her in her home while she fights this cruel illness over the next months.
Her wonderful son, Jordan, is working round the clock to find ways to cover her medical expenses and hopefully get her some disability payments, but all of these take time. Meanwhile, her bills keep coming.

Philip wrote this last year on New Years Day to the board - he was extremely dedicated to the foundation we created in Noëlle’s memory but now it will continue on in both of their memories 💜 We have some very exciting things in 2021 that the foundation will be apart of and we want to help as many people as possible. If you know anyone that needs any medical assistance/help send them to our website (in bio). Here’s to hoping everyone has a happy and healthy New Year! ̈lle

This month the Noëlle C. Loving “But Tomorrow” Foundation received its first application from Melissa, a 39 year old living in Prince George, VA. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2012. It came back aggressive this past March and there is nothing left to do.

One of the biggest things our foundation believes in is giving the best quality of life no matter how much time you have left. We were happy we could help in some way and let them enjoy going to one of their favorite places to create lasting memories.

Her husband wrote on his blog “Her doctors and all of us feel that what really matters here is her quality of life. Palliative or hospice care will provide her with the best overall quality of life for the little time she has left.
This is by no means giving up or in to cancer. Cancer is not a battle, despite the name of this blog. No one wins or loses. You can't fight something that is out of your control...all you can do is deal with whatever it throws at you. That is what this decision is about...dealing with the situation, focusing on what really matters...quality of life and the quality of the time left to live.”

We will be thinking of their entire family, especially her husband and son, through everything they have and will be going through. 💜💛🧡
