May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🤍

And while so many children are silently carrying anxiety, pressure, loneliness, and fear… they deserve spaces that remind them they’re seen, valued, and never alone.

On Tuesdays lives are being poured into through faith, community, and honest conversations that point kids back to hope. ✨

This is about the children 🩵 we are wearing blue for the children who deserve to feel safe & loved .

Grateful for those, like our EHF volunteers, who choose to stand in the gap…covering them in prayer, love, and protection, because God cares for every single one 💙

Trauma-informed principles are a set of core values used in workplaces, organizations, schools, and healthcare to ensure people feel safe, respected, and supported — especially those who’ve experienced trauma. They help create environments that heal rather than re-traumatize.

Here are the ✨ 6 key principles ✨ (from SAMHSA — the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration):

SAFETY❤️
•Safety means everyone feels secure — physically and emotionally.
When people feel safe, healing can begin.

CHOICE + EMPOWERMENT🧡
•Give people voice + choice.
Empowerment comes from being heard, seen, and supported — not controlled.

COLLABORATION💛
•Healing happens together.
Work with others, not on them. Everyone’s input matters.

TRUSTWORTHINESS + TRANSPARENCY💚
•Be clear, be consistent, be honest.
Transparency builds the foundation for real trust.

PEER SUPPORT💙
•Connection is powerful.
Shared experiences remind us: we’re not alone.

💜Trauma-informed isn’t just a framework — it’s a mindset.

Let’s create spaces where safety, trust, and empowerment thrive.🌈

What an incredible day at Crabtree Falls ⛰️ with our high school young men!

Led by Andre and Elijah, this hike was more than just a climb … it was filled with laughs, real talk, prayer, and brotherhood. From powerful conversations on the trail to prayer at the top, God showed up in every step!

Grateful for moments like these that remind us what happens when faith meets fellowship. 💛

We’re beyond grateful to partner with Atron Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing mental health services and support to individuals and families.

Together with Elephant House Foundation, Atron is helping us pour into children’s lives with hope, healing, and real resources that matter. Because mental health matters — and every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Thank you, Atron, for pouring into these young lives alongside us. This kind of partnership changes everything. 🐘🏡💜

Despite the rain, our Family Day Block Party on Saturday, July 12th was a powerful day of impact, fun, and togetherness for the community and it served as a beautiful reminder that even the storms can’t stop God’s plans!! In partnership with and their Adopt-A-Block initiative, we were able to provide free lunch, groceries, resources, and fun for the whole family—including a bouncy house, Kona Ice, a live DJ, and so much more! 🎉

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9 🌱

We believe that seeds of love and support were planted in our community—and we’re excited to see how God will bring the growth.

A huge thank you to every vendor, volunteer, and participant who made this day so meaningful. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💜
