Yesterday, our Co-Founder Soror Tempest (Ashley Johnson) had the honor of serving alongside community leaders and fellow Greek organizations at the 6th Annual Mother’s Day Brunch hosted by Be The Change in support of the women of Gateway180 Women’s Shelter.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to pour love, encouragement, and care into mothers and women who may be navigating difficult seasons right now. To every woman experiencing hardship, transition, uncertainty, or simply carrying more than the world can see, please know this: your current chapter is not your final destination. You are worthy of softness, support, joy, stability, and love.

Motherhood comes in many forms, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder that community matters. Sometimes healing begins with something as simple as being seen, celebrated, and surrounded by people who genuinely care.

We also want to express our gratitude for the chance to work alongside Aja La'Starr Owens, some amazing Greek organizations and community volunteers united by service. There is something powerful about coming together for a shared purpose, and we would absolutely love to continue building more partnerships and collaborative impact in the future.

Thank you again to Be the Change for creating such a meaningful experience and for allowing Alpha Chi Psi to be a part of it. 💕

To the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, godmothers, aunties, and nurturing hearts of Alpha Chi Psi Sorority, Inc. Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Today we celebrate the women who love deeply, sacrifice quietly, pray endlessly, give endlessly, and hold generations together with strength and grace. Whether you’ve raised children, helped guide nieces and nephews, mentored younger women, or simply shown up as a safe place for others to land, your love matters more than words can express.

We also want to hold space for our Sorors who are navigating today with heavy hearts. To those who have lost their mothers, grandmothers, mother figures, or are grieving motherhood in any form, please know your sisterhood stands beside you with love, gentleness, and support today and always.

May this day bring comfort, beautiful memories, laughter, rest, and reminders of just how cherished you are.

Two years ago, our beautiful Soror Vivianite joined our sisterhood and brought with her a spirit that continues to shape the culture of Alpha Chi Psi Sorority, Inc.

While service within this organization can take many forms, sisterhood is also built through connection, encouragement, and the ability to hold space for others. Vivianite is a sister many turn to for support, laughter, and a sense of belonging. She consistently uplifts those around her, keeps spirits high, and shows up as a steady presence within this sisterhood.

She holds it down for the Tre’s every chance she gets and reminds us that joy, morale, and genuine connection are essential to the strength of our bonds. Her role in sustaining the heart of this sisterhood matters more than words can fully express.
