Introducing your new Downtown Hound, a dapper gentleman that enjoys visiting the local café scene. He minds his manners and on at least one occasion, impressed the café owner with his calmness among the activities of a busy restaurant. Oh, and this seemingly city dog is an avid country adventurer as well, hiking trails in the state parks in his spare time. So, who is this well-rounded hound? It’s none other than Bagheera, a 2-year-old dude who retired early, just after 11 races and is now looking for a family with lots of love for him, a taste for adventure, and some great food!
Bagheera is currently being homeschooled by a family living in Richmond VA, and they are teaching him the finer things in life. Besides a taste for food, his foster Mom says that he’s pretty crazy about toys and LOVES being the center of attention. He’s also pretty Velcro and wants to be with his people – everywhere that they go.
On the flip side, Bagheera is not a fan of cats or small dogs. In fact, he simply refuses to be associated with anything light and fluffy – adopters take note that if you have a cat or small dog, this dude is not for you!
Bagheera will live his best life as an only dog who can get lots of attention or with another dog that will let him have the spotlight, at least for a while.
Are you ready for Bagheera? A pretty awesome and AVAILABLE TO ADOPT dude, at least as of now. So don’t delay, if you are even thinking about how this boy will fit into your family, don’t hesitate.
