Our program is built upon using baseball and a personalized learning approach as a mechanism to address and reduce at-risk behaviors for youth in the City of Richmond, while teaching life skills, building character, and nurturing a love of the game!

Play Ball Day is celebrated annually on August 1. This day was created just for kids, by Major League Baseball (MLB) and USA Baseball to encourage the participation of young children in the fields of softball and baseball. This initiative shows fun and interesting ways baseball can be played and enjoyed. By encouraging formal and casual participation, children will be able to engage in skill-developing activities that are exciting.

The program also allows children to find their passions and have a foot into the possibility of a future career in sports. Let’s play ball!

Slyderz Baseball’s Summer Camp starts this coming Tuesday, July 5th! Early Registration is tomorrow, Friday, July 1st from 4:00-6:00 PM at 150 E. Hooper Street (behind Community High School.)

Come out and meet Coach Carl Smith who will answer any questions you might have. Be sure to have your child’s medical insurance and emergency contact information on hand. SPACES ARE LIMITED! See you there!
