This week, the Protect Our Care “Sick of It” Bus Tour came rolling through Virginia, calling out GOP cuts to life-saving health care for hard-working families.

32BJ SEIU airport workers and SEIU Virginia 512 home care workers joined elected officials and community members to highlight the devastating impact of cuts to Medicaid, ACA subsidies, and rural hospitals.

We are sick of cuts to the health care that we need and deserve and work hard for.

Thank you Congressman Bobby Scott, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, Rep. James Walkinshaw, Senator Aaron Rouse, and Kannan for Virginia for joining us and speaking out.

Together, we will continue to fight for a future with quality, affordable health care for all!

BREAKING NEWS from 7News DC: “U.S. Sen. Mark Warner met Wednesday with airport service workers at Reagan National Airport, backing their call for affordable employer-provided health care.

“The Virginia Democrat joined members of 32BJ SEIU, which represents wheelchair agents, ramp workers, baggage handlers, terminal workers and others at Reagan National, Dulles International and Baltimore/Washington International airports.”
