Thanks to the generosity of our customers & hardworking associates, we raised an incredible $1.3 million and collected hundreds of thousands of toys & books for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation this year! These funds go right back to our local communities to bring the joy of Christmas to kids & families in need during the holiday season! Thank you to everyone who donated! 💖

Hello everyone. We are in the process of breaking everything down for the year. We have 12 real poinsettia plants here that we would like to give out. We will be at the bargain hunt building until 5pm today if you would like them.

Well, what a day today was. With the weather issue we had this morning, it still turned out fantastic. I can. It thank all the volunteers enough. They are what makes this all happen. A big shout out to Meijer. When our campaign was in need, they stepped up and made it happen. Four stores, that’s right people, FOUR MEIJER STORES got together and provided us with the means to give to each and every child that was requested for. This year has been a hard one, as I heard from so many of you today. It’s those stories that keep us going. Smokin' Jax BBQ Catering killed it again this year with the food. All of which was donated by them. And of course it is always a joy to see the Richmond Meijer Store Director out there slinging donuts and cookies, again donated. We also had the local chapter of Combat Vets Motorcycle Association, EKU Police Department,the Marine Corps League Det. 1012, Richmond,ky, and others there to support our mission of getting every child a toy for Christmas. Signing off for the night, and will be back at it again in the morning.

Well, we were ready….. but the weather said not so fast!

Before the snow rolled in, we made it to Meijer to buy some last minute toys.
I can not express how wonderful Meijer truly is. I expressed our short coming with toys this year, and what did they do? They said hey, come see us, we got you.

Darn this weather! We will be moving our start time tomorrow to noon. See you all then.
Sorry, but we all know how this snow is here in Ky.

Let me clarify…
Tomorrow’s toy give at the bargain hunt that was scheduled for 9am is postponed to noon tomorrow.

All other toy give times and dates stay the same. The pick up locations and times are the same.

The one and only change is if you had planned on picking up tomorrow from Richmond at 9am. It is now at noon.
