GARY: Gary’s first days at the shelter were marked by food-bowl-tossing temper tantrums and angry rants at volunteers when put back in his cage! But, Gary couldn’t keep his curmudgeon act up forever and has proven to be a sweet guy who loves attention, lounging in a sunny spot, (and breaking into the storage cabinet to steal Temptations treats)! Gary is seven years young, super intelligent, and full of personality! He gets along with other friendly cats. He is still not a fan of cage life and will be thrilled to find his forever home!

We can't believe how big Della's puppies already are at 4 weeks old!! These little ones are the cutest bunch we've ever seen. And while we weren't confident that Trace was the father of Della's puppies (Trace and Della came to the shelter together)....

I think in the voice of Maury: "Trace, you ARE the father" 😆

We can't say for certain but these pups sure look like they've got some Trace genes running through them! We just love them!! And Della has been the BEST mama! ❤

We are starting to get foster apps in on these guys and gals - they can go into foster at 8 weeks when they're old enough to be away from mom.

Courtesy post for Ducky and her finder, who’s been taking excellent care of her! 🐕

Ducky was abandoned on a farm in January 2025. An entire community was trying so hard to bring Ducky to safety but no one could catch her until April 2025. Ducky’s finder has been caring for her for over a year now and has learned so much about her. Ducky is estimated to be 10 years old and she does have some kidney issues that require her to go outside more than the average dog. Ducky has done well with other animals but has some resource guarding issues when it comes to her water bowl. She loves all people and really just wants to be loved on as often as possible! Please share and help us find that special someone for Ducky.

Trace is currently in temporary foster and is doing AMAZING! His foster says he will make a great dog for someone - despite Trace only having 3 legs, he LOVES to play fetch. He is such a good boy.

We would love to see this guy go to his forever home! Good with other dogs, too!

We're not sure about you but we think Aria is settling in quite nicely at the shelter - her STRAY HOLD IS UP! No one claimed this beautiful girl and we can't believe that.

Dumped and forgotten like her life never mattered 😔 we're teaching her that her life DOES matter!

We're not sure how old Aria is but we think she's under 2. We have not yet tested her with other dogs, but she wags her tail through her kennel at them, so we know there is potential there!

Please consider coming up and meeting Aria during our open hours on Saturday or Sunday between 9-11a, she will be fully vetted and spayed through the humane society. 🐾🙏❤
