Reveille UMC We welcome all people to follow Jesus Christ and serve together as a hub of faith, hope, and action.

Join us for worship on Sundays at 8:30 am (chapel), 9:30 am (fellowship hall), and 11:00 am (sanctuary, livestream). Our Vision

Because we believe every person is created in the image of God and the grace of Christ extends to everyone, we will welcome and include all people without exception so that they will know and experience God’s love and the power of the Holy Spirit. Because we believe faith is a lifelong commitment and journey of growing closer to God and neighbor, we will take intentional steps to deepen our relationship with Christ so that as transformed people, we share and multiply the love and grace of God into the world. Because we believe God binds us together amidst our differences to love and care for our neighbors, we will be a hub of faith, hope, and service in our greater Richmond community so that all people have abundant access to what we need to thrive together.

Reveille's United Women in Faith met today to learn and practice sacred dance with our own Karen Rios, and we enjoyed hearing about Noonday, a fair-trade organization, from Alyssa White. Followed by a wonderful lunch, of course! All women are invited to join the group and can learn more at www.reveilleumc.org/uwf

Thanks to your generosity, the Rise Against Hunger meals we assembled on August 30 are headed to the Philippines! This island nation is one of the most environmentally disaster-prone countries in the world. Rise Against Hunger partners with organizations in the Philippines that support educational programs by providing meals to children at schools and early child development centers. This is a key part of Rise Against Hunger’s Nourishing Lives pathway. In some cases, the food children receive at school will be the majority of the food they eat in a day. Many thanks to this wonderful crew who came out to build a shed and landscape at one of REAL LIFE's transition homes. Special thanks to Scotty Weaver, who is leading our prison ministry partnership with REAL LIFE. Our team said it was special to do this work alongside three of the men who live in this house. Working with them and hearing about the impact this program has had on their lives was inspirational. It was also special to see them immediately start to fill the shed helped build with bikes and lawn equipment! Look for more opportunities to support our prison ministry coming up!

We had an uplifting and inspiring 25th Anniversary Celebration at The Point on Sunday! Thank you to our guest preacher Rev. Beth Givens, who helped begin the service in 2001. The music, our church family, great food, and more made this a very special service ❤🙏
