Things I am...
I am a woman that celebrates other women's victories, strengths, beauty, talents, success.
I am a woman that doesn't need a whole lot from others. I am grateful for companionship, prayers, an occasional invitation for coffee or lunch is wonderful.
I am trustworthy. I am humbled by anyone who confides in me and I will never tell your secret, share your story, or judge your situation.
I am Catholic, the daughter of a king and God is ALWAYS my #1.
I am kind. I will always include you. I will never be a part of a group of people that leaves someone out or speaks ill of others.
I am someone who has a very difficult time accepting a compliment. Because as much as all of these things I have stated sound complimentary to myself, I think that is furthest from the truth...in my eyes, everything I am has been shaped from pain and determination...and most certainly only by the grace and strength of God
Because I have been excluded, insulted, judged, unfriended, overwhelmed, misunderstood...I strive to be the change I want to see in the culture of women that I have encountered.
God has put AMAZING women in my life that have shaped who I am and who I want to be.
I'm no.longer dismayed when I am left out, unwelcomed, misunderstood, ignored ...
I am relieved.
To the women who love...keep loving
To the women who care...keep caring
To the women who nurture, and include, and welcome in, and celebrate others, and help, and lift up, and pray for others...keep doing it...this world needs women like you.
And remember...little girls are watching...they are being shaped by the women in their lives and will most likely become just...like...them.
