As one of the most diverse counties in this state and country, Fort Bend County must stand as a beacon for tolerance and respect for its many ethnic, racial and religious communities.

Hate and bigotry, in all of its forms, cannot and will not be tolerated. The Fort Bend County Citizens Engagement Group condemns all acts of hate on members of our community and others.

Reports have been made that anti-Semitic hate flyers were placed in a Missouri City neighborhood. The Fort Bend County Citizens Engagement Group condemns this act and calls on members of our community to stand up to all forms of hate.

We ask that if you, or someone you know, have more information regarding these acts, please contact local law enforcement. Also, to report incidents of hate, you can report them to the Anti-Defamation League. (Link in the comment section)

The in-person Program "Understanding Your Mental Health" has been postponed. Given the increase in pandemic cases, we have reconsidered hosting this in-person event. Additionally, given the importance of mental health topic, especially in these times, we even considered going ahead with the event in a 100% virtual setting. However, it would not have been impactful and thereby we postponed the Aug 14th event.

Those who registered had been notified.

We hope you will be able to join us when it is rescheduled, as we have an incredible group of professionals in the field who will be speaking at the Program.
