Awaken Church RVA Awaken Church RVA meets & serves in the Richmond, VA area! Awaken is a contemporary, non-denominational, Christian church serving in the Richmond, VA area.

We are focused on Family (cultivating an authentic community) Outreach (reaching those far from Christ) & Discipleship (equipping & activating those in Christ). We believe and preach the word of God as outlined in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. Our focus is on authentic spiritual growth as individuals and as a church family. This growth results in lives changing, people serving, and God being placed first in all situations. Our church family is diverse, with people from different backgrounds connected through our shared pursuit to become more like Jesus. We are fellowship focused and believe Sunday service should be a launching pad for our congregation to do life together! A common phrase you'll hear during service is "Real Church," which means we don't pretend we have it all together; instead, we embrace authentic relationships through our highs and lows so we can support and encourage one another as we push towards Jesus.

This is the practical way to renew your mind. Take the lies the enemy and your flesh feed you, cast them down, and replace them with the truth of Christ. Don't leave your mind void; welcome God's truth in its place. This is how we grow towards Christ daily.
