This past year and a half have been rough. It’s okay to admit it. We too are fatigued from constantly advocating for, educating about, and pleading to be seen as equals in American society, while feeling like our efforts are not met with enough progress. Now more than ever we must let ourselves take a step back, take a breath, reflect, and heal.

That is why we are partnering with Yellow Heart Committeeto present A Journey To Racial Healing— an interactive seminar lead by a multicultural panel to promote healing and unity among us all!

Join us on Wednesday April 14th at 5pm PST/8pm EST

Join the Richmond Youth Council this Friday, 5:30PM for our townhall webinar: Speak Truth to Power at tinyurl.com/RYCTOWNHALL. The purpose of this townhall is to discuss the relationship between BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) law enforcement, local government, and education. There will be several panelists consisting of educators and officials. Audience members can ask questions to be addressed by panelists in the chat. There will be a segment for the audience to raise their hand and provide input/opinions relevant to the discussion topic. We hope this will encourage growth within our community, as well as give the youth a voice on crucial matters that impact our future. It will also be live-streamed on YouTube: KCRT TV. Here is the agenda, along with the updated finalized panelists. Spread the word!
