✨ HELP US CONGRATULATE OUR 2026 OUT + EXCELLENT HONOREES ✨On Saturday, June 13th, we proudly honor Sean Sullivan of at the 2026 Out + Excellent Awards Gala in Oakland, CA.

Sean has been recognized for his community leadership by the San Francisco SuperBowl Committee as a Bay Area PlayMaker Gloss Magazine, The San Francisco Business Times, the East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club for The Port Bar’s “Business Building Community” and Visit Oakland’s Pride Honors. Sean Sullivan is the only person in Oakland to entitle two emergency homeless shelters in the City of Oakland through his decade long work with Covenant House. Sean was also the Development Director of No on 8-Equality California during the Marriage Equality referendum of 2008. He has been an advocate on LGBTQ issues during his entire 25 years in Oakland.

The impact of Dr. Suga-T Stevens extends beyond entertainment into film, podcasting, acting and authorship. She’s an accomplished social entrepreneur, executive producer, personality, and speaker dedicated to education, wellness and humanities. She holds over
20 solo albums and 5 group albums, maintaining
relevance in underground, commercial, various
genres and independent circles. She pioneered a
globally influential independent music movement,
revered for her trailblazing role in 90s hip-hop
landing a major co-venture deal with Jive Records.
Suga-T recently received another BMI Award
Accolade, along with many other accolades and
holds a variety of gold & platinum albums. Suga-T
aka Dr. Suga-T is also a Dr. of Humanities and
Music and advocates for health, women, autism
and violence prevention.

Patty Nishimura Di**le has worked as a diversity, equity and inclusion practitioner for over 20 years. Most recently, she was the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Riot Games, where she led an international team that developed a strategy focused on creating inclusive programs and practices impacting internal talent and players.

As the Head of DEI, Americas at BNY Mellon, and while at Visa she drove the enhancement and implementation of corporate diversity and inclusion strategies, ensuring that DEI was integrated into business and client initiatives Today, she is the proud sole owner of the White Horse Bar, in Oakland which is the oldest operating Gay bar in the country, established in 1933.
