We would like to Congratulate Emanuel Wright- Anthony on being selected as this year 3rd recipient of The Cortez Wright Scholarship for 2022-2023 year delayed but never denied. Due to tragic circumstances that took place here in Richmond, Va. 3 weeks ago took a little longer but because of this circumstance we knew we had to continue our work. Congratulations Emanuel and we as a family wanted to help with the next chapter of you jou chapter of your journey.

For the past 2 years the Wright-Stoudmire family has had the privilege of blessing 3 young men with $1000 each towards furthering their education. It is with great pleasure to announce that we have begun accepting applications for the 2023 Cortez Wright Book Scholarship.

This Scholarship is open to any Graduating male senior at John Marshall High School pursuing a post-secondary education, which includes:
- 2- or 4-year college
- Technical or career trade schools
- Apprenticeships

To apply for the Cortez Wright Book Scholarship, please reach out to Mr. Torres for applications, application details, and/or any assistance needed with completing the application.

The Wright-Stoudmire family would like to congratulate this years recipient of the Cortez Wright scholarship, Emir. Emir is a graduating senior at John Marshall High School, who will be attending George Mason University in the fall, where he will be majoring in Sociology.
