At Land of Medicine Buddha warmly invite you to join in the celebration of Medicine Buddha Festival Days & Hike For Peace ! for a joyful day of community, healing, and practice as we celebrate the Medicine Buddha Festival. The day begins with a procession from the Gompa to the Wish Fulfilling Temple, where display large thangkas magnificent 24 ft Medicine Buddha Thangka ( artwork ). At the Wish Fulfilling Temple, monks will lead us in special Medicine Buddha Puja.
After the puja, please join us for a delicious complimentary lunch follow by Hiking & activities.
Schedule: Festival Day activities include the following:
Procession led by the Gamelan Orchestra
Short talk on Medicine Buddha by Ven. Geshe Tenzin Legtsok
Medicine Buddha Puja led by Ven. monks from Sera Jey Center and the Gyuto Center
Mongolian traditional contortion art form, acrobatics, and dance
Tibetan music and dance (with community participation)
Hike For Peace led by Ven. monks about the loop is approximately 2 miles Eight Verses Trail & Stupa This trail, gains ~ 400 ft in elevation.
Kids activities with Tara Redwood School
Tibetan medicine, acupuncture booths, and qi gong
Gizdich Farm Pies!, Raffle, Complimentary lunch
Free event, free parking on the land
All are welcome — come for the whole day or join for any part of the celebration.

If you have time you should really enjoyed hiking this Land of Medicine Buddha trail 6 miles recommended but we do only shorter (2 miles) this time. See you there !
