Thank you to some cardboard fairies who left a huge load of cardboard at the wildflower site last night!! 🧚📦 If you have cardboard to share, you can drop it off at the big black tarp. We hope to see you for Phase 1 on July 3rd from 8-Noon. (Feel free to drop in as you can!)

🌻A native meadow is coming to Yaupon Place!

We could use YOUR help to make it happen! We'll be creating the meadow in 2 Phases with Undoing Ruin and volunteer support.

📦Phase 1: Cardboard + Mulch
On July 3rd, we'd love your help laying cardboard and spreading a big truckload of mulch across the meadow area.
📦We'd love your donations of sturdy cardboard if you have them!

🌱Phase 2: Soil + Sow
In September, we'd love your help spreading soil and sowing the plant plugs. In addition to learning from Undoing Ruin as we're working and plant, we'll also have neighbors sharing about adding a native meadow or wildflowers to their yards or organizations.

You can join the & pilgrimage! students in Dr. Luckritz Marquis’ Pilgrimage class created a meaningful, reflective experience throughout the park. At each loci, you can find a QR code leading to an audio meditation created by the students. A BIG thank you to Dr. Luckritz Marquis and her class for this creative final project at Yaupon & Shalom.
