Our friends at the Southside Listening Room have let us know about these upcoming concerts!

On October 30th, they'll be featuring Robert Dietch. If you like Country Music, it's a "do not miss"!

On November 8th, it will be an evening of Irish music with Eliot Grasso, with Richard Hearn and Jim Eagan - uilleann pipes, tin whistle, flute, fiddle, bouzouki - we predict that the craic will be mighty!

The Southside Listening Room is a convivial house concert series located in the Stonehenge subdivision on Richmond's Southside.

Thanks to Nancy Nelson for sending us these videos of our September 19th concert featuring Jordan Wax: Yiddish Song for a New Generation. Enjoy!

What a wonderful evening in our listening room at Congregation Or Ami last night when Jordan Wax presented "Yiddish Song for a New Generation". The perfect mix of music and storytelling by a talented musician and singer!

We are sad to hear that one of Ireland’s most influential traditional musicians and master of the uilleann pipes, Paddy Keenan, passed away today. We were fortunate to feature him at our concert series in May of 2009. It was a magical evening that we will never forget.

On September 19th, we'll be featuring Jordan Wax: Yiddish Song for a New Generation. For those who have a special interest in learning about Yiddish language and culture, check out Yiddish RVA: a Yiddish-themed newsletter and event series brought to you by the founders of Richmond Yiddish Week.
