“The dining room table is where meaningful life moments are shared and where difficult conversations begin. Come gather around the Common House table for our second Lunch & Learn to share a family-style meal and hear Richmond leaders talk about the work they’re doing in the community, and how having difficult conversations is central to making progress.
Our panel this month will be moderated by CH member Vincent Ellis White – Author of “Finding Chris, My Father,” Social Entrepreneur, Fatherhood Advocate, and Foster Care Worker alongside panelists:
Tasha Moore El-Amin – Author of “No Crying Allowed, a Boys Journey to Understanding Hidden Emotions”, and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond, Teen & Community Center.
Sonja Holt – Wounded Healer, Transformation Strategist, & Founder, Executive Director of SCARS/Second Chance at Renewing Self, and CH member.
Wafa May Elamin– Founder and Director of Self-Made Roots LLC, Project Manager for the Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA); DEI Committee Co-Chair for the Virginia Energy Workforce Consortium (VEWC), CH member; human being.
