Our April GBM is 1 day away!

Join us for our final GBM of the semester as we celebrate an incredible year together! 🎉 This is a moment to recognize everyone’s hard work, highlight our seniors as they prepare for graduation, and applaud our freshmen for successfully completing their first year of college. We’ll also be joined by a special keynote speaker and DJ to close things out on a high note. Let’s come together, celebrate big, and finish the semester strong with excellence as our standard.

Come join us for an afternoon full of fun, connection, and community at our inclusive kickball event with Jacob’s Chance on April 19th, 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School! Whether you’re coming to compete or just enjoy the vibes, there’s a spot for everyone. The theme is superhero so throw on a costume and come be a part of something meaningful.

Who is Jacob’s Chance?
Jacob’s Chance is all about creating opportunities for individuals ages 5–40 with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. Their programs focus on building confidence, encouraging growth, and creating genuine connections through inclusive experiences.

Being apart of DMC, helped me strive for greatness while maintaining a strong foundation to becoming a healthy Black man. This opportunity is a big step in building my path toward a career in optometry. DMC March GBM x Hoodie Day 📸

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our General Body Meeting. If you weren’t able to attend, here’s a quick recap. It was DMC hoodie day and we appreciate everyone who has been wearing their hoodie around campus. The night was full of energy and connection as members engaged with one another and took pictures to add to DMC memories.

As we’re approaching the end of the semester we encourage everyone to attend our study sessions held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with each day being math focused along with other disciplines, let’s finish out this semester with excellence as our standard!

Please join us for our upcoming events: AI Architect on April 7th, College Day on April 14th, and our next General Body Meeting will be held on April 15th, so save the dates, we can’t wait to see you there!

“Being apart of Developing Men of Color (DMC) has helped my journey improve sufficiently. This organization has helped me find new opportunities, staying disciplined, and overall be in a community with people that are likeminded. I am proud to announce that I’ve secured a Management Development Program Summer Internship with Miller Electric Company for 2026.

Most people wait until they “feel ready” (I was one of those people). DMC taught me that being uncomfortable is when you’re ready. No shortcuts. No perfect plan. Just the momentum to feel uncomfortable. This isn’t just an internship. It’s PROOF: P - Pressure either breaks or build you. R - Risking comfortability.
