Delivering donations of pads and tampons (quarterly) to local charities and other organizations aiding menstruating humans in the Richmond/Goochland area including, but not limited to: Goochland Cares; Capital Area Health Network; St. Thomas Episcopal Food Pantry; Welborne UMC Food Pantry; Virginia Supportive Housing; St. Joseph's Villa; Crossover Ministries; SafeHarbor; Gray Haven Project; Celebration Church's House of Ruth; OAR of Richmond; Richmond City Schools.

The WHY, WHO, HOW.... LET'S KEEP IT GOING! 🥰

Today we received an e-mail from a 6th grade teacher in the Richmond Public Schools. She asked if we might be able to provide her with a box of pads for her classroom. We said, yes!, we will leave a box out on the porch to PU (PIC OF BOX BELOW). I received another email from her a short time later: "I am on your porch. And I am not sure if I should take the whole box." I opened the door and said, YES! of course! Her eyes filled with tears and she couldn't believe it. She said: "the school nurse has some supplies, but isn't always in the office and some of my students don't have products at home. I saw the products in the Henrico County Library bathroom and saw they were provided by The Period Patch and took a picture and decided to reach out."

This particular box of products came from The Rotary Club of Church Hill, Richmond and Luminary Hair Co. product drive. And thanks to the Henrico County Libraries for helping spread the word.

Period Partner® is proud to support The Period Patch in the fight against period poverty in Richmond, VA. Period Patch provides essential products to homeless, struggling, and displaced menstruating people, helping ensure that no one has to go without the care they need.

Since 2015, Period Patch has collected pads, tampons, and monetary donations to distribute quarterly to organizations across the Richmond metro area and surrounding counties.

Period care is not a luxury. It’s a basic need — and access matters.
