Kaurageous Love Kaurageous Love, founded in Fall of 2016, is a not-for-profit that aspires to create a community of dynamic and powerful woman leaders.

Kaurageous Love is a not-profit, non-governmental organization focused on woman's empowerment, philanthropy, and education efforts in primarily South Asian communities. It aims to engage young women to empower each other through enrichment programs, workshops, and events that serve to inspire individual and group consciousness. It further provides a safe and inclusive space where women of all ages

can grow and support each other to realize their true potential and become fearless and impactful beings.

Sikh Family Center and Kaurageous Love present the Suniyae Circle Series - a structured, intimate listening circle that creates a safe and brave space to reflect, heal, and connect.

In community and public health settings, listening circles are particularly powerful because they honor lived experience as knowledge, reduce isolation, and strengthen social connection.

Suniyae Circle Series is meant to do just that - with a focus on gender justice, we aim to sustain dialogue and community engagement amongst Sikh women in areas where stigma and silence may otherwise limit conversation.

Another incredible tabling event this Sunday with featuring art by !

As a team we were able to hand out resources about the Punjabi hotline for individuals facing gender based violence, Know Your Rights, and our upcoming events! Sangat was able to participate in helping paint artwork created by the incredible , which once completed will be put up in the new Gurudwara library!

Thank you for all the sangat that participated and all volunteers who helped!

Kaurageous Love repping at the Sikh Day Parade!!

For the first time, the Kaurageous Love team tabled at the Sikh Day Parade, bringing immigration rights information to the Sikh community at large. We were so blessed to have been able to talk to so many members of our sangat and ensure that they had the necessary information about their rights.

We were also able to meet so many you guys, and make some new friends as well! We loved chatting with you all and getting to know you! Keep an eye out for our future events, including Katha Club and the Vaisakhi Food Pantry - we would love to see you there!

Another insightful katha club session today! As we continue exploring the .naam Anand Sahib series, we come together in reflection, learning, and spiritual growth.

This month, we reflected on the search for true fulfillment—how beings across time have sought Amrit (Divine Nectar), yet it is only through the Guru’s grace that it is truly found. We also explored the unique stride of the devotee, the challenges of walking the spiritual path, and how surrendering cravings, attachments, and ego allows us to merge into Oneness.

Over the past few weeks, our community has been feeling anxiety and fear at the possibility of mass deportations and the presence of immigration forces in the gurdwara.

Last Sunday, we tabled at 118th St Richmond Hill Gurdwara Cultural Society for a Know Your Immigration Rights event with South Queens Women’s March.

We distributed pamphlets and fliers in both English and Punjabi explaining your rights and what to do if ICE shows up at a gurdwara, a place of worship, or your front door. The goal of this event was to raise awareness and arm our community with knowledge and information about their rights.

The community response was overwhelming. Community members of all ages and all immigration status’s showed up to learn more about their rights and those of their friends, neighbors, and family members; they even took multiple pamphlets and fliers to help us disseminate information amongst the wider community.

Thank you to everyone who participated, engaged in a conversation about their immigration rights, and read the pamphlets and fliers!
