We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors, teams, and donors who helped make our 18th Annual Bowling for Kids Tournament such a success! 🎳

Because of your generosity and community spirit, we were able to raise funds that will support our Tazewell County Special Field Day for special needs children, as well as other youth programs we sponsor throughout the year.

It was a great evening of fun, friendly competition, and community coming together for a wonderful cause. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the businesses and individuals who give their time, resources, and support.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of kids in our community. 💙

Clinch River Kiwanis Club is hosting our 18th Annual “Bowling for Kids Tournament” on Friday, February 27, 2026

Tournament Details:
Teams: 4 bowlers per teams
Where: Fireside Lanes
Claypool Hill, VA
Time: 4:30—9:30 P.M.
Entry Fee: $100 per team

**If you do not wish to bowl, you can still help by sponsoring a lane for $100.00.
Please take a moment to consider participating in this day of fun and bowling.
All proceeds will go to fund the various events that Kiwanis supports throughout the year including our annual Special Field Day. Register early - space is limited!!!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Seventeenth Annual Kiwanis Bowling Tournament Friday night. It was a great night of fellowship, memory making and raising funds. Proceeds go to support the many projects of the Kiwanis including the annual Special Field Day for special needs children throughout Tazewell county. Clinch River Kiwanis held their 2023 Special Field Day on a beautiful day in September. Schools from across Tazewell County brought students to enjoy a fun filled afternoon with the RHS Key Club, and what an amazing day it turned out to be! Special thanks to the RHS Key Club, Clinch Valley Medical Center, Tazewell County Tourism, Richlands Lions Club, Burger King, Teen Venture, Dr. Glenn Harrison, Central Church of Christ Women's Group, Legacy Hospice, Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens, Richlands High School, Clinch Valley Family Podiatry, Food City, Food Lion, Grants, TNT DJ, Richlands Fire & Rescue, Pete Vance, & Consolidated Steel. Thanks so much coming together to make this happen!

Our Special Field Day was a wonderful, sunny day for some children from Tazewell County schools. The teachers tell us each year how much the kids look forward to this day. The students each receive a t-shirt of their school color and lunch as well. They particularly enjoyed the foam machine this year. It literally takes a village to pull this off each year. This photo includes club members and community volunteers. Thank you to each one that helped make this day special! More photos from the day will follow soon.

Good meeting today. Our plans are coming together for Special Field Day Sept. 21. Special Needs students from throughout the County coming to Ernie Hicks Stadium for fun and games.
